About this site
Central Missouri Insulation Quotes covers seven counties — Camden, Miller, Morgan, Benton, Laclede, Pettis and Pulaski — taking attic insulation estimate requests and publishing the guidance needed to have a useful conversation about the work.
What the site is for
Most homeowners approach attic insulation once, know little about it, and are handed a one-line quote. The gap between a complete scope and a cheap one is mostly invisible from that document.
So this site does two things. It explains what should be inspected, what a complete job includes, and how to read two proposals against each other. And it passes estimate requests to a contractor covering the property.
Where the content comes from
Technical claims here are sourced to primary material — ENERGY STAR and EPA, the Department of Energy's Building America programme and Building Energy Codes Program, and the Federal Trade Commission's consumer guidance and R-value rules. Every page that makes a technical claim carries its sources at the foot, with the date they were checked and, importantly, a note on what each one does not establish.
That last part is deliberate. A recommendation table is not a law. A national average is not a local price. A general guide is not an inspection of your attic.

What you will not find here
No reviews or ratings. This site has no first-party review data. Publishing star ratings without it would be a fabrication, so there are none.
No project photos presented as our own. The photographs and diagrams illustrate what is being described. None of them is a customer project, and none of the work shown was performed by this website.
No local price averages. No credible current price survey exists for attic insulation in these seven counties. Inventing one would make the site look more useful and be less useful.
No contractor rankings. This site does not rate, rank or certify anybody. Licensing, insurance and credentials belong to the contractor, and are theirs to evidence and yours to verify.
No claims about specific properties. Nothing here can tell you what is in your attic. That is what the site visit is for.
